Me and my friend going to look at a 99 stang tomrrow


yes its a gt, is there any issues with this year? i know its the first year of the pi motor, anything i should be looking out for?? thanks, oh and its for him not me i love my fox

99 had the windsor motor in it....not much different than the 01+ romeo engine. 99's had headrests that would not adjust (annoying to me) 99 had the plastic coolant crossover intake, replaced by the aluminum cross over. 99 also had the t45 tranny (for manual) vs the newer t3650.

Mileage, condition, price?

condition, not so sure about he said he saw it on autotrader or somethin, its a 99 with like 90k i think for 6700? that average for these cars or should he keep looking?

no problems with the 99 GT's. I think the cobra had the big problem. its a little high especially for the mileage and year, just make sure its in good condition and well taken care of

ps- i got one hell of a deal on mine. summer of 2006, a family friend was selling his 99 gt bone stock with 53,000 miles on it for $6k even. He used the cash for a new downpayment on his 06 3v
