Motive Vs. Motive performance plus

any differnece beisdes price

ive heard that motive and frpp are made by the same ppl and i just saw that the 410s for motvie are only like 130 and siad their just as good as performacn pluc but not as lightweight so would that mean id be like .00001 slower in the quarter mile or???

and now im considering 430s which they dont have so idk

Motive plus gears are softer and lighter than the regular Motive gears. Its like Ford gears vs Ford Racing gears.

If you realy want 4.30's. If it is only $40 difference between the the Motives and the Motive plus in the same gear then yea I would get the Plus. But if you are asking if its better to get 4.30 plus's vs 4.10 regular motives then I can't tell ya. That comes down to what gear you want.

well dont 430s have a little more pull in every gear then 410s

and the plus version of 410s are only 30 bucks more

To short. You are gonna be shifting like crazy. 1st will be useless. Gotta use the torque FoMoCo gave you. You can search this site and findy 10k opinions on gears. But I doubt you will find 1 postive opinion for putting 4.30's in a gt. Gears are a big debate. personaly I am putting 3.90's in. But I am fixing to be making alot of power. 4.10's are the highest I would go in your situation.

4.10's at the most. Depends on your power plans. I am putting 3.90's in my Mach.

It also depends if this is going to be used for the street or strip. If it is a street car then yeah no higher than 4.30s. If you're on the strip only then you could go to 4.30 or possibly 4.56. Like Doc said its all what you want to do with your car.
