Water Pump
Within the last week I was reading a thread where somebody had mentioned a water pump swap that will actually help you more than getting ud pulleys. I can't find the post to save my life so I'm just gonna ask about it. Also, what is the difference between a 00 tranny and an 02?

Better blade design, better blade material. It only draws 3hp at 6k rpm. You can get it thru summit.

awesome, but what about the tranny question. i know my t5 sucks balls and a 6 speed is in the "need to do" list but whats the difference in the 00 and late 01 02 tranny's? a lot of times they upgrade but it really isn't

You have the t-45 and they have the 3650. The 3650 will hold a little more power in stock form and it has internal shift stops. I would say go with a built t-45. Direct replacement for your car and it will hold more than a stock t-56. 56 swaps get pretty damn pricey

nice, i was thinking about a built 5 speed, another gear would be nice though. i've got a tri-ax so shift stops really isn't a problem and i've been driving a while so i don't push the shifter past engagement. thanks for the info

Well the electric water pumps give you about15-17 at the wheels and use no hp to run. So do the math. If it takes 3hp for the Stewart pump then you will get about 12-14rwhp. I noticed a very nice gain with mine, especialy on the top end. Sweet2k has it and so does Machboy, they both saw similar gains

I've been running a Meizere electric water pump for about 15,000 miles. I did a lot of things at once, but the tuner estimated a 15 rwhp gain.
