Removing Mach 460 Amplifier
My rear left amplifier of the Mach 460 system died. I purchased another one and wanted to know how to remove the old one? Do you need a certain type of screwdriver? Thanks!

To remove the amp it should just be a allen wrench i forget what size its been 2 years since i removed mine and just make sure you unplug the wire and put the new one on shouldn't be too difficult and you dont have to remove the sound board either

Should be a torx head screw. T-20 or T-25 if I remember right. And, no you do not need to remove the whole enclosure to replace it. You just need to crawl in the trunk (if you can) or play contorsionist.

+1 I think there are four all together holding the amp up. I just took the whole speaker box out they only working speakers in my car are the 2 front ones tweeters are there for show. Previous owner f*cked sh*t up pretty bad in the wiring of the inside of the vehicle.
