Pipe thread tape on oil pressure fittings?

Recently I installed another oil pressure gauge and I have a bunch of brass fitting screwed together near the oil filter. They are leaking about a drop of oil per second when under pressure. Is it okay to use pipe thread tape on them? The supercharger instructions say not to because the sealant can get into the supercharger. I don't see any other way to stop the leaking though. Any suggestions?

I mean this tape won't really clog the supercharger right? It's only going on the threads

I do HVAC and when I run into gas piping at work were not aloud to use teflon because it can get into the system, so I wouldnt use it, only to be used mainly on water lines. Use gasoila or something like that, something to just spread on the threads with a brush, no tape.

The instructions for my line-loc said to use thread tape, but not to go past the threards to keep the brake system from getting contaminated. I would assume the same would be for the oil lines. If it is a new system, I would call the manufaturer to see what they suggested.

I just put regular pipe thread tape on it and it's not leaking so far.

I made sure the tape didn't go past the threads so I think it should be okay.
