If the gears are put in correctly then there should be no whine...

You will love the gears...

Its the best mod for the money IMHO...Other then forced induction ot nitrous...

i just put some gears in...i put in richmond and everyone said they'd whine....they dont...as with all 4.10 or steeper gear...they will wind a very very very tiny bit when you come to a stop...at least they do on automatics...i'm not sure about manuals...i know this because i've got 2 buddies with the same yr. make and model as mine with autos...we've all got the same set up...and all of us have a slight whine when slowing down only...they have frpp's and again i have richmond...so...they wont whine while driving but may have a slight one slowin down...in my opinion it sounds damn kool when i slow down...hehe dont forget a tuner...XCAL2...dont get the diablosport...theyr're no good for gt's...

ALWAYS THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WILL BE SETTING THE CAR UP FOR. AUTO 4.10'S IS GREAT MANUAL 3.73'S OR 3.90'S ARE GOOD. HIWAY MILEAGE WILL GO DOWN BUT WILL HELP IN TOWN AND AWSOME AT THE TRACK. IF YOU WANT TO GO WITH FORCED INDUCTION A LITTLE TALLER GEAR LIKE 3.55 WILL BE A LITTLE NICER AND MORE FORGIVING.
