Tuner woes.

First and foremost, I just installed LT's and an O/R mid-pipe, and I thought that I could program the car and that would take care of the SES light without the use of MIL's. My light went off for about a day, but came back on today. Do I need MIL's? If not, what variable do I need to change for tuning.

I know my livewire asks you if you have rear 02 sensors in the user options part of the program. Is it the same for yours?

Does your xcal have a custom tune with your LTS and o/r x. Once i loaded my custom tune that had the 0/r x my ses light went off perm. before that the pre loaded tune i could turn it off for maybe only a day before it triped the ses.

Got to go under the change parameters section and actualy turn em off. You can also remove the speed limiter and change gear ratios in there, plus a few other things.

I can custom tune your car for the LTs and turn off the rear o2s in the tune.

I doubt it, but it probably depends on your state rules.

About that, I think AM was supposed to do that, but I don't think they did. When I choose to view the variables on the Custom tune, everything appeared stock. I have 3.73's and it showed them to be stock, and the rear 02 sensors were on as well.

So, I ended up changing those 2 variables myself, but other then that, I left everything else stock.

Did I gain any power? Is that all that you would do? If you can manage to squeeze more power out of it, I would be more than happy to purchase a tune from you. Without going into detail (don't what to give away your tuning secrets) what kind of things can you change to increase HP?

They probably sent it without the tune. You loaded the custome tune or the preloaded tune?

Originally the custom tune, but when I looked into the tuning variables, nothing was different then stock. So, I went into Pre-Programmed tunes, and created my own. I changed the variables myself.

Making hp is easy, most tuners can tune for WOT without issues. The only factors that adjust hp are the AF ratio and the timing values. I specialize on making the car run correctly at all throttle positions. PM sent.
