Help from mustang owners.

Well my car looks like it finally gave up on me. I was driving and I hear what seemed to be a very rapid clicking coming form the engine? Now when I start it it knocks real loud then it just dies again. it seems to be coming from the left vavle cover. Any ideas?

might of had a cam follower come out.

Im having it look at on monday but I can do the work myself if I knew exactly what it is. When I start it it goes to normal for a split second than it ticks and it dies out. Now this car has a 120K on it. It had had this tick for awhile I thought it was a bolt from the headers guess I was wrong.

+1 pull a valve cover and see if ya find anything

Yeah it does get louder with acceleration. It's at the shop now so depending on what it is will depend on if I keep it or i'll part it out. I have a stage 1 clutch brand spankin new never used, lowering springs new never used, tons of other modification i'll be getting rid of if this turns out to be a deep motor problem.
