which coating?

MAC : Lethal Performance

i know that cermamic coated is better then just plain chrome because it helps with heat and all that but it seems both are coated, obv one is better because of the price difference but is it actually needed? it seems the more exspensive one is just for looks? thanks

The cheapes ones are just coated for corrosion resistance. Ceramic headers help keep engine bay temperatures low. IMO I would not waste on ceramic. They do the same job. Maybe in the long run, but not now.

they're not both ceramic coated one has a HTS coat on it which is basically nothing and the others are ceramic coated. thats the price difference. I have heard some bad things about the HTS not lasting too long and some have rusted. but thats what i have read i dont have them yet.

I wouldn't waste money on ceramic ... if you're going cheaper headers .. go cheap .. just get the MAC HTS coated.. I'm picking up pypes new SS LTs for just a few dollars more than the MAC but worth it in IMO

High Temp Ceramic Coating is well worth it when done by a good company ,
I have my manifold and down pipe coated on my MKIv and the temps under my hood have gone down drasicly.

Remember lower tems under the hood is better for all the parts under the hood .
