i have decided


i ahve decided to get rid of the slp lm2 they arent for me.. im jumping onto mac dumps im lookn for a better tone and it will be matched up with upr o/r x.. i would like evrones input on this set up and my decision

I got mac pro dumps on my 95 5.0 and they sound SICK dude. I got the 3in. great tone deep and loud! enjoy them

Dumps get kinda old after a while...I would go all the way out the back..

I have bassani's that are dumped right now...Im going to have the rest put on shortly...

But its your car and you cant go wrong with MAC...

A buddy of mine has the UPR o/r X with Flowmaster super 44's and it sounds sick! And of course PYPES FTMFW!

As whitestang said its all PERSONAL preference, if you like it, get it!

I agree its all about what you like, I would also recommend taking the pipes all the way to the back and not dumping it. Its cool for first couple months, then just gets old and makes your cab hotter. But I love the sound of my MAC catback and will shortly finish it off with MAC LT's and prochamber.

The thing is .. having no pipes out of the rear end of a normal gt looks stupid .. and throwing on a v6 bumper isn't much nicer .. If you dump/turndown off the muffler, throw some fake ass pipes out the back just tack em to the hangers and they'll be fine .. yeah you'll have to cut em out .. but it'll look alot better .. and .. MAC cat back w/ O/R H and LTs sounds alot better IMO .. much better tone than with the X .. I'm gonna run the Mac set up on this GT for a while and see how I like it .. i might end up switch back to flows b/c of the sound .. I just hate poppy exhaust ... i want it to sound like a mustang when you hear it before you see it comming down the rd ...
