Finally broke the 3650

Well, my stock tranny finally gave up. I got the car tuned up Tuesday night, and yesterday I decided I would get on it a little bit on the way home. Anyway, it pretty much sounds like every gear in it is broken and the tailshft is spinning in a wobbling motion. It almost shook the damn car to pieces when it started coming apart. So, I guess the limit for mine was right at 700Ft. Lbs.............

I was telling the wife how fortunate I've been to have had it this long (you've seen the videos). Mike told me when I was leaving Tues, that it wouldn't last long at the power level we put it up to- He was right.

You got all your shit together yet??

Yep. Got some update photos in the 4v section. Forgot about the index plate, that held me up for a bit, and now just waiting for HP to send the diablo back. I just went with all new/upgraded stuf for it instead of getting stock stuff from the salvage yard.

Well, I got things apart and my transmission, although weaken, is still workin'. It ended up being the driveshaft bolts in the pinion plate. They had stretched out a little and the driveshaft was puttin the vibration back into the tranny. I'm still goin' C4 though.

we all told you that you should have changed your oil and gotten a tune. you can't just run your car with metal shavings in the oil like that. atleast it was a learning experience though.

ac i'm surprised yours held up this long. my transmission is loud as fuck and has really been pissing me off lately. and i have what, maybe 270rwtrq?? the person who had the car before me must not have been able to drive for shit. my flywheel was burned as fak when i got it resurfaced too so i guess that says something. anyways good luck with the C4 man
