a lot of people talk about building a 800hp daily driver.. it costs a lot more money to make a daily driver fast than a regular track car. cuz it has to be reliable too.... when i did all the research on what setup i wanted i think the total was gonna end up somewhere around 20-26k... that was with a hellion tt kit instead of novi... i just cant see spending 10k on a gt and then another 25k on it and it still only bein a gt and the bank and insurance company only seeing it as a gt.. they dont care that your turbo setup costs as much as your car did. lol

and my thoguth was to just buy a 4v and s/c it

i have also realized that since its a DD as much power as i orginally wanted is unrealistic and i think now im gonna be fine with just about 500-550

i just want a badass gt that can get under 10.7 at the track on slicks

i will be starting everyhting in december

and my planning was going to be first a paintjob and sallen body kit. then basic mods like lowering kit, gears, tuner, nitto 555r, short thorwer, subframe connectors, cai, stuff like that. then getting my engine forged. then i guess a KB, whipple, procharger, or vortex. then a complete suspesnion kit (i saw one online for like 4k). then i wanna re do the inside of the car like a 08 gt

a lowering kit will hurt you at the track. And you also need to make up your mind for your suspension, you either set it up for drag or for handling, you can't have both.
