i always thought u were supposed to break them in so you don't get an uneven wear pattern on them and fill your rear with metal shavings.. :-/

on another note.. there was a guy in my area selling his mach last year before i got this car and i was looking at it and he decided to switch in some 4.56 lol

were you able to keep traction?? i figured with a lower gear like anything greater than 4.10 that it would do more harm than good because it would get out of your power band quicker..

so why you tell newbs 3.73

i honeslty never did understand the reason behind 3.73 for F/i and 410 for N/A

.................................... 4.10's are too step of having alot of hp, (your tires will spin too much) 3.73's are a mid way,

410s F/I would probably give you faster accel from like 60-100 then 3.73 tho rite

It's going to give you faster acceleration in every gear. It all depends on the driver to keep the car under control at low speeds.

well tires size has something to do with it also, i run a 28 inch tall tire. That changes the gear ratio also. I have never broke mine in nor ever been told to take it easy on them after install. It never affected me any powerband wise. I have 4.10's now in the car and thats only cause i got them for 50 bucks and just didn't feel like spending another 150bucks on 4.30's at the moment.
