Next Upgrade

So i have a 2003 GT Vert 5 speed and i just put in my JLT True Cold Air Intake and i already ordered my magnaflow cat back....i was wondering wat u guys would do for ur next upgrade???? gears???? chip??? tune??? watever. Just wondering cuz i ran a 14.8 at the track my first time up without the intake so i prolly could get a better time next time but i dont wanna completely break the bank..

id rather not do an h or an x pipe because of the loudness...i cant really afford to get pulled over by the cops and issued a ticket because im trying to get on the police force and that would f my chances up a lil bit. lol

Can go with a catted h/x pipe which is better IMO. Wont be as loud as an off-road. -shane

I agree with the guy above me. Get a h-pipe with high flow cats. The mid pipe is the most restrictive part of the stock exhaust.

^^^^ both right. Neighbor has a full bolt on GT with catted x and it was only real loud when he got on it and drove like a retard.

I have an 04 GT vert, and the first thing I did was cat-back Magnaflows, which sound awesome. Then I did an MGW shifter, which makes a huge difference too. I would recommend putting in a shifter, it's a major improvement over the stock. Then I did 3.90 gears and an XCal tuner. I like the 3.90s a lot -- a more noticeable difference over the 3.73s and a little more street friendly then 4.10s, not to mention better on the highway.
