one more tail light question. PLEASE HELP!!!

im lookin to order tail lights on ebay. not to much time left. will 2001 svt tails work on my 03 gt. thanks for the help

i dont know about the 01's, but i've been trying to find some for my bro's 99 cobra, and the GT's and cobras were different, and needed to be wired differently. they said its a pretty easy job, but more hassle than i cared to deal with

from the info i have gathered in my search, 99 was the only year this affected (being cobra/gt compatible).... 01 may work just fine with a GT, i'm just not totally sure

aside from the rewiring of the signal lights, you should be fine.

also, the 99/01 cobras had amber colored reflectors at the bottom of the lights instead of being all red like the GT's.

ya but that is the difference, because of the cobra having the amber turn signal away from the tail light itselft, will cause the wiring issue..

im pretty sure they sell pigtail adapters to make the 99/01 cobra tails work
