Transmision question

will a 4r70w bolt to a 5.4? it is basically the same block except for the deck. correct me if im wrong

it will..not sure if it depends on which 5.4 you go with..like the 4v 5.4 or 2v 5.4...

2v in lightning put down impressive numbers so either or is fine as long as i can get it for a good price and itll bolt up to it cause im kinda growin attatched to this tranny lol
