Home made powerpipe

So Among my other projects, I'm making a boost a pipe. I'm using a 3.5" 90* chrome pipe for the main inlet at the s/c and a 3.25"id PVC pipe to go to the fender. My question is, Has anyone here ever made their own BAP? Do they really add Boost or am I waisting my time. If they do, whats the average boost they add?

BAP = the kenne bell boost a pump to increase the fuel pump voltage. I have never heard of a boost a pipe. Maybe you are thinking about the power pipe?

I don't know...Lets see what key terms I typed in my original thread, PIPE, BOOST, PVC, CHROME...I'm pretty sure by reading my post I didn't mean boost a pump.

Easy guys, try not to be assholes lol, he is trying to make a power pipe. From what I've read, they add 1-2 psi.

the power pipe you are trying to fab looks fairly simple to make from looking at it on my pop's gt the key as i can see is using big smooth pipe and tubelar bending because you don't want sharp bends in it it might take some trial to get the angle right but keep the angles smooth and remember you are bending aluminum now so go easy with the pipe bender

I understand There is a direct correlation between Boost a PUMP and KB but in reference to what I typed it's very clear that I'm talking a boost a pipe. I even said boost a pipe in the first line and referenced it as BAP in the second line. Sooo, I'll give you your "WTF" right back at you.

Power Pipe is an Anderson brand name and not "what it is". If some of you guys would "read" the post instead of trying to be the smart guy with a cynical response your lives would surely be easier. This wasn't a rookie mistake in typing or lack of knowledge; it was a clear question.

on the plus side:
I've already made an intake pipe out of 3" PVC and and a chrome 3.5" 90* intake pipe. I have only noticed a 1-2lb difference up top. I am starting on a 4" intake pipe for the car now. I didn't think the air turbulence would still affect the volumetric efficiency. A few of my friends have told me that it matters. So, thats what I'll try next. I'll post some pictures up when I get out of work of the first draft of the project.
