Question

Power Loss After Adding Mods???

I added a 75mm throttle body, plenum and diablosport tune and went from 331hp to 347hp and the torque went from 427 to 425. Don't you think the hp gain is a little small and the torque loss it a little weird? The only thing I can think of is that they were on different dynos. Anybody know why?

different dynos, different weather, the only way you can SEE the power on a dyno from mods is to dyno it at a exact temp outside, exact car temp, same day and all.

i wouldn't worry about it. the best way to tell if your mods are working is to take it to the track.. dyno's can be misleading.

Why use hand held tuner when you have the use of a dyno?

thats normal in some cases actually, depending on your mod seyup and everything its not unusuall to gain hp and lose tourqe, or vise versa... if you ask people who dyno tune cars they would say the same

the 75 mm t.b might not be the best. You need a pretty good air flow to really make it worth the 5mm gain over the 70mm.

Do the mustang dynos get better #s because the first time I ran it it was at dallas mustang so there is a good chance that it was a mustang dyno. Im positve that the second one was a dynojet though.

They have system that assists the nitrous and maintains the bottle pressure but I dont know if its worth the money. Tell me what you think.

and i like that nitrous helper, but hell it cost as much as the nitrous kit. just stick with a good filled bottle, purge it before each run, and make sure the pressure is the same.

your car has alot left in it still. et wise for sure

Yea I have the bottle heater and purge but it's usually so hot down here that the heater doesn't do anything. Both of the runs were at the same psi
