pretty sure its about 500. A forged crank would be the best choice for high power

I've been running 550/700 through mine and that's off of a hard nitrous hit.

Just something i heard, never seen, or experienced personally, but.... I've read/heard that at the limits of the stock crankshaft it can flex under the high load and badly ruin bearings... is this correct?

i was just wondering because cms has this kit with pistons and rods for like 1200 or so and all the rings that will push like 650-700hp. but they have another1 with a cobra crank for 1800. so im thinking of going this way instead of a new short block. dont hav anyplace to put the shortblock so ima take my car to a shop and get this done

Yea the block will hold that easily. But your tranny will not hold 800. I would say if you need a forged crank for your power plans you need to add a built tranny to the list as well.
