Heads and Cams

what is a good site for heads and cams? someone point me in the right direction please.

i have a dilemma. if i sell my dirtbike i will get about 2000-2500 for parts for my car.

Option 1:
-4:10 gears
-H&R lowering springs
-Mach 1 front lip
-Diablosport tuner
-Mac O/R H
-a catback (im not sure i need to do more research on what sound combination im looking for)
-Black bumper inserts
-tint the tail lights and reflectors on the back bumper

Option 2:
-heads and cams

with option 2 i would probably have a faster car but with option 1 my car would look and sound 10 times better.

Studies show that 92% of kids listen to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listens to real music put this in your signature.

wouldnt he need gears anyway? i mean, heads and cams are a good upgrade, but isnt the car gonna feel like a turd and not move into the powerband quick enough to benefit from heads and cams?

It is kind of funny you said this, I always tell people to build from the ground up. Really why build a motor in a car that can't use it, unless you plan to just have a tiresmoker or a dynoqueen. The car with the most power doesn't always win, the car that puts the most of its power to the ground does.

haha ok you do heads and cams you will get killed by a bolt on gt with 4:10s.. why dont you just have somebody port your heads and save like a grand and still can get the cams.. no matter what you do 2v heads still suck for flow so i dont really see a reason to spend 1400 bucks on heads unless you are like putting together a bad ass engine in your garage and then just gonna drop it all in.. in a day.. but thats just my opinon.. people can port heads for like 400 bucks

Get all of the easy stuff done first. Bolt ons then build your engine. Why put heads and cams in if you're not going to build the lower end. Do it once and do it right.
