cel with hi flow cats


hey guys i have a pypes x with the mini cats and my check engine light just came one. i forget off the top of my head what the code was but i searched it on the forums and it came up saying get mil eliminators ect. why is this light coming on if im not offroad??

Well are the cats gutted? They come on if the reading isnt correct... Get a scanner from auto zone or something and make sure thats the code it is

I have a scanner but I cleared the code lol. It will come back one and no the cats arnt gutted, they are the ones that comes with the pypes kit.

They are too high flow and are not cleaning enough out of the exhaust to be in the range the 02's like.
