Lincoln Mark 7 8.8 Rear

Does anyone know if the Mark 7(87+) rear end is the same width as the 99+ Mustang's which is 1.4 inch wider then the 79-98 rear.As it would be a cheap up grade for the 7.5 rear guys.

- 1994-1998 Mustang rear axles are 3/4" wider on each side than a 79-93 Mustang.

- 1999 and newer Mustang rear axles are about 1 7/16" wider on each side than a 79-93 Mustang

- Lincoln Mark7 LSC, SVO Mustang and Fox Body Saleens use a rear axle that is 1.25" wider per side than the 87-93 Mustangs.

Like I said, "Lincoln Mark7 LSC, SVO Mustang and Fox Body Saleens use a rear axle that is 1.25" wider per side than the 87-93 Mustangs" and "1999 and newer Mustang rear axles are about 1 7/16" wider on each side than a 79-93 Mustang" so with that being said the Lincoln Mark VII rear end is about 3/16" narrower on each side than a 99+ Mustang.
