Have you ever been to Modular Depot - Your source for Modular Performance parts and service - Modular Depot - Your source for Modular Performance parts and service and did a search on GMS? I won't use their products.

Here's a thread where it's obvious that their product is inferior. just an example of granetelli's high quality and strict tolerances - Modular Depot Forums They made this special icon just for GMS over their. ![]() It was such a nasty subject that some on the moderators left the site, including Randy stinchcomb who been selling parts there for years.

Bias, lmao. Like I have anything to gain in reporting what I know as fact. I don't run their products because of several complaints about them over the last 8 years. It's not that your car is so powerful you just can't keep from breaking them. Go a head and keep putting their crap back into your nicecar. I love doing the same thing 2-3 times expecting a different result. I have never understand why people are so scared to admitted that they might have had made a bad purchase. Don't take it personal, just move on. I'm also not just doing it for your benefit. I don't want others to think it's a good investment to by their product. If you don't want others opinions, including ones that differ from your's, don't start threads on public forums. You want people to say "wow your car is so powerful you keep bust bushing stuff" When that's not the only deciding factor.

yeah cause your shit is not that powerful. 1.6 60ft means you ain't launching that damn hard and shit shouldn't be breaking. 600rwtq and 7k rpm launches on UPR pro series and the shit is still running strong. I have over 200 passes with them on. I am happy they have good customer service cause you have to do something right if you make shitty products that break.

I have HPM Megabytes adj uppers and lowers. You guys here anything bad about them? I have launched my car at 4000 rpm with them multiple times and haven't had any issues, but I wasn't hooking as hard due to to small of tires. I had 275/45/17 Nitto 555r's and i still spun them. I honestly don't know, and would like a serious opinion. Also Sweet, I have a set of slightly used Maximum Motorsports Control arms, my buddy has them, but hasn't installed them as of yet. He hasn't paid me yet either. I'll give him the alternatum if you want them.

Hi, J.R. Granatelli here, sorry about the problem you are having. I do agree with the others, an 11 second car should not have these issues. We have tons of cars in the 1.38 to 1.44 60-foot range racing in many FFW and NMRA classes and they have 100 of trouble free race laps and 1000’s of trouble free miles. In any case I put together a set of our billet bushed control arms. Naturally the upgrade in no charge. I wish there was a better way to see what is going on under that car on launch. Also thanks for the vote on confidence, all too often the keyboard cowboys are eager to jump to the dark side rather then thinking rational. In your case the bushings that keep collapsing are Energy Suspension BLACK’s. That is the hardest durameter poly bushing they offer and setting a side the 2500plus units a year we have sold since 1998 (actually over 25,000 for 79-2004 chassis) think of all the other competitors I have that use the same bushings. The fact that you had the same problem twice does concern me a bit and makes me think it is not just a bushing going bad on launch. These billet upgraded arms are the same arms several 8-second renegade cars are running with NO ISSUES – please call me when they are installed. |
