We have tons of cars in the 1.38 to 1.44 60-foot range racing in many FFW and NMRA classes and they have 100 of trouble free race laps and 1000’s of trouble free miles. In any case I put together a set of our billet bushed control arms.

Naturally the upgrade in no charge. I wish there was a better way to see what is going on under that car on launch. Also thanks for the vote on confidence, all too often the keyboard cowboys are eager to jump to the dark side rather then thinking rational. In your case the bushings that keep collapsing are Energy Suspension BLACK’s. That is the hardest durameter poly bushing they offer and setting a side the 2500plus units a year we have sold since 1998 (actually over 25,000 for 79-2004 chassis) think of all the other competitors I have that use the same bushings. The fact that you had the same problem twice does concern me a bit and makes me think it is not just a bushing going bad on launch.

These billet upgraded arms are the same arms several 8-second renegade cars are running with NO ISSUES – please call me when they are installed.
wow

kudos to you sir

So you're no faster with the 3.73's eh? What other mods did you do after the swap to 3.73's? With a 1.6 you should be well in the 11's.

no faster??? you must not keep up with some topics. i went 12.06 with real shitty conditions. no one there that night ran close to what they normally run. went from 12.1 to 12.0, from 112.75 to 115mph. yeah, i am no faster.

Here's your previous quote about your 12.1 run with the 4.10's...............

"not arguing, just stating my opinion and preference on the subject. thanks for the compliment, but the car is faster than 12.1. i ran that with a busted 3/4 fork having to short shift in and out of third so it wouldnt get hung up between gears."

That doesn't sound like a "perfect" run to me. What other mods did you do? Change tires, different N2O set-up you were talking about?

the car has 11's in it, always has. i changed nothing from between the runs set up wise. only things i have changed now is the tubular k, upper control arms and lower bushings, stewart w/p, and gms coils. i also went to an et drag, and will be buying skinnies for the front when i get around to it.

edit: i did change the NOS solenoids for a zex box.
