S2000

I was just wondering if anybody would know what my car should do (2001 Cobra, completely stock) if I were to race a Honda S2000 with minimal upgrades. He said that all that it had was exhaust but it seemed awfully quick.. He was right next to me all the way through second and then i just started pulling on him in third..is this normal or should i have pulled on him more?

I believe a stock S2000 has 260hp so you have the advantage hp wise by the S2000 also weighs quite a bit less so i would say it should be pretty even but would give you the slight advantage.

lol my dad has a 2002 honda s2000 they have 246 hp and like 170's tq, with a good driver you could get mid 14's. trust my its not gonna beat a 5 speed gt. i told him to drop that car and get a 2001 zo6 corvette because i found one for 31k but he stayed with a yellow little ricer, what a dissapointment, there is no way i could lose to his car the way it is. ive lost to a well moddified s2000 but not by much especially considering i had 4 people in my car and it was just the driver in his. i told them next time they need to get their own car cuz their fat A**'s are weighing me down lol
