mine seemed to sort of do that, i had to work on my foot technique. its a bit different shifting with a mgw it takes getting used to. sometimes if you dont have the clutch in just enough the shifter seems to get stuck like it wont go into gear and thats on fast shifts. im not sure if it is like that because the throw is so short that my hand may be going faster than my foot but its all about perfect timeing. the reason i suggested that is since you say it works fine at a stop. that was just an issue similar to mine but what i did worked out well . now i have no issues

thats what i thought at first but it didnt seem like it... ill try some more on my way to work in the morning, maybe it is just my hand/foot timing... either way im gonna swap the fluid tho

Change the trany fluid and only put in 3.0 litres (3.2 qts.). There's a TSB about this, the reduced fluid level minimises hydraulic locking/blocking of the synchro collars, shift rods and detents.
