What is better for the Street? 4.6 DOHC, 4.6 DOHC SC or 5.4 Lightning SC

All, Im still looking at alternatives to the V10 swap i talked about earlier... Now if I was looking for fun street factor daily driver what would you do?

What is the best bang for the buck...

BTW, Im kinda swaying towards the Lightning 5.4L SC engine...

So choices are:
5.4L Lightning
4.6 DOHC from Cobra 2001
4.6 Terminator a bit more expensive

Also if this has already been discussed please direct me to the thread...

thanks,
Markus

A blown stroked 5.4 4v would be probably one of the baddest engines you could build. That is what I do.

yes i did have a wish list, but i didn't post any threads about it. it wasn't worth doing when you don't have the money. And even when i did have the money i knew what i wanted by reading up. Plus so much changes in life so what is point of asking what you should get when you have the money in 2 years and in 2 years something better will be out anyways. Its just funny that this section has become a wish list section. What should i get, what type, how fast will i run, how much power will i make, but i have to actually get a job and save for the next 2 years and then i can buy it lol

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I do alot of research myself, but I like to get others opinions, but most of the things that I ask about are things that I'm going to order within the end of the day, or the very next day. For instance I sent AC a pm last week about a clutch. 20 min later I ordered one from AM. I see what your're saying I just don't want to dicoursge these youngins from asking us. I like helping when I can.

no it won't, i had that hood on my car, and the one i have now is even bigger. thats only a 4 inch cowl and a 6 inch cowl will not clear a lightning motor. So the NBA is wrong again. Quit putting out bad info
