Help Car Running Bad

So I decided to clean my motor today. I shut it off used degreaser and hosed it out with water. The car is now running like shit. It idles fine and when you accelerate at a normal pass its fine, but when you really get on it, it almost seems like it has water in the cat. Any ideas?

let it dry out.

takes a while..

it's going to rain in jersey over the next few days though or I would tell you to pop your hood and let the sun sine on it.

did you spray down the air filter? shop vac it and let it dry off

Ive always heard to leave the car running when doing all that. I did it b4 with degreaser and then power washed it all off, but i did everything with it runing.

I have a JLT cold air so I don't think there is anyway I could have got water in it. I've heard of doing it running to but my uncle who owns a body shop told me to do it with the motor off.
