idleing problems still

I know ive posted this before basically, and have been trying to figure it out through others posts, but when i stop after the engine has warmed up the car basically dies, then jumps to about 3 grand, then dies again, then jumps etc... I have gone through alot of posts and had some good ideas, seemed alot of it pointed to the IAC, but mine is new, and also swapped the one from my 01 gt just to make sure the replacement wasnt a bad part. And it is still doing the die, rev thing. Any suggestions? Mine is a 99 gt and I can swap parts off the 01 for it since I dont drive the 01 anymore. I was thinking of this weekend doing a full tune up new plugs, fuel filter and maybe if people thing it might be fuel system related swapping out hte injectors as well, but would like some more input in case someone thinks of something it could be thats an easy fix. Other than the idle thing, the car runs great, no hesitation, no missing, no blowby and starts up withing 3 cranks of the strater, even better than to 01 wich has much less than half the mileage of this one. I have the k&n listed in my sig, but already swapped out the whole unit from the 01 just to see if the maf or anything had anything wrong but still does the idle die, rev just the same. So basically I know for sure its not maf or iac involved any other suggestions would come in great right now cuz next weekend I am heading to the U.P. and thats about a 1k mile round trip and really dont want to have to deal with the car dieing and revving itself up everytime I stop.

Try the TPS sensor from your other car and make sure it's setup and reading proper volts to the wire. Search out how to install and get the proper reading via a volt meter.

Also check for vacuum leaks around the obvious areas under the hood and vacuum leaks in you fuel system emiss junk.

If that TPS won't fix it, the best thing would be getting a sct xcal3 and datalog that joker. Then you can send the file to one of the SCT guys and maybe they can catch something.

Oh, and check for exhaust leaks where your headers meet the H pipe, etc.

I had got under my car once and the bolts on my BBK headers to H pipe had worked loose on the drivers side.

well i dont have headers but there is a slightly noticable exhaust leak, ya think maybe that could cause it?

Yep! It will screw up your O2 sensor readings.
