Cobra Spoiler
If I put a cobra spoiler on my 04 GT will it bolt to the stock holes? Or do I need to re drill them? Also, any idea how much it will cost to paint it?

"And god said unto the wayward followers, Use the search function" figured I'd say it so white wouldnt have to hehe.Anywho, nope it wont be a direct bolt-on. your best bet would be to try and find the decklid with the spoiler

Well I am getting a cobra spoiler for a good deal so I guess I will figure out what to do with it then because I dont see a point in buying and having to paint a whole decklid and spoiler all so I dont have to drill some new holes.

get your spoiler. go on ebay or to a junkyard and get a sixxer lid with no spoiler drill the holes and put it on the new lid then get both painted at once and just swap it out.

depends on how you plan on filling them. most people are just putting plugs in them and painting the plugs. but i know those bumps in the trunk lid would annoy the hell out of me so id want to bring it to a body shop have the holes professionally filled with no indications of them ever being there on the trunk lid.
with the v6 lid you could put the cobra wing on and give it to the shop to be painted then just swap it out in a few hours. instead of leaving your car in the shop for a day or so.

Right, I hear what your saying. Maybe I will call a local junkyard to see if they have one. This shouldnt be a very hard task
