update on idleing probs - still doing it

Ok as i had mentioned before my car after warmed up drops to die then jumps itself upto about 3grand then does it all over, I have gone through all the iac stuff no change, havent messed with the tps yet, but did get new plugs, now the others had been in for awhile and the guy who owned it must have not done it right cus they were gapped at .040, i installed the newones at .052-.056. definatly ran smoother but the prob is still there basically. Except now it just dies and dont jump upto 3 grand, however no when in nuetral with no load basically with clutch out it dont die, were before it still would, so I think im on the right track but could use a few more ideas. And the car has always had premium in it so the injectors shouldnt be too bad at 133k miles though. I dont think its the coils cuz the car doesnt miss or hesitate, however if this helps draw any ideas the car bucks alot from takeoff-3rd gear, and that is annoying as hell in itself, so i think these probs may be related but havent a clue on this one. please help guys

it was new when i got the car, and laso swapped in another one i knew was good in case it was a bad replacement part, but did it just the same, although definatly runs smoother with the new one, but no change with the dieing and bucking issues

ok, well i eliminated the tps idea, swapped that out, still the same, any good suggestions guys? I really need some help with this. It's my daily driver but not so much of a driver if its gunna die every time I drive. also I swapped out the k&n cai for the stock unit including cleaned maf also so that wouldnt be the prob either.

did you try checking your MAF housing for any cracks, or cleaned the MAF? I had a similar problem but I have a 5-speed and it ended up being a crack in the MAF housing and air was being drawn up from to different locations and was throwing my MAF out of whack.

Studies show that 92% of kids listen to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listens to real music put this in your signature.

Try spraying some brake cleaner on some of the vacum lines to check for leaks, it will rev up if there is a leak when you hit it with the brake cleaner.

Have you disconnected the battery for 5-7 minutes, to reset the KAM (Keep Alive Memory)?

The KAM is where the PCM stores all learned values, including idle air trim, short and long term fuel trims, etc)--resetting it causes the PCM to relearn the values.

I am gunna check for vaccum leaks tonight, and as far as battery disconnect, whenever I am swapping stuff around to check it out i always leave disconnected for at least 20 minutes, but usually 30 or more
