DR's on stock rims
so yeah...i'm gonna get some 4.10's installed in about two weeks...and don't really have the $$ left over to get some new rims, but i figure i'm going to need some decent dr's to get some traction out of the hole...so what's the widest that will fit on the stock rims...i eventually want to get bullitts but that will be later, but i would like them to fit as well
i'm leaning towards nitto 555r's

have you gone to a 31 spline rear end? slicks on the stock 28 spline will rip that rear end apart on maybe 5 hard launches at the track.
to answer your question though stock rim is 8in so i would say 275 is the biggest Id put.

275/40 17's will work great and I wouldn't worry too much about your stock axles with drag radials at your power level. Mine lasted to over 550RWHP before I twisted the splines off.
