GEM fuse #39 draining battery in a day. can I pull it?

Ok, I am having an issue with my battery getting drained after being parked for a day or so. I have had the alt, batt and general electric system tested and everything is ok, but at sitting with nothing on I have a .25 amp drain. I pulled each fuse one at a time and found that the load dissapears when i pull #39 GEM.

My question while i know is stupid and not the right answer to my issue... Can I pull this fuse and still drive my car safely for a couple of days? I know it controlls the wipers, auto dawn window and a few other choice things, but if I pull it will anything be damaged while driving?

I really wont have time untill next tuesday to tear into my car and find the actual cause.

ok, so after I posted this yesterday morning I pulled that GEM fuse out, adn left the battery on the charger at 12V 2a untill 1530 when I had to leave for work. as soon as I fired up my car and got on the road I noticed that damn Batt light on again! WTF!!

so basically here is my issue...

when the car sits and i start it up my batt light comes on, and randomly fades in and out... My volt meter (factory and I know it is more like a sweeping idiot light) reads nice and healthy and dosent move while driving. with the car idling a DMM reads voltage at the batt around 13.5ish. car starts find, cranks normal, no problems other than that darn batt warning light.

I read in the manual that htis light means that my battery isnt charging properly. yet my alt checks out just fine... I had the local parts shop (Advanced Auto) check the alt and batt in the car and they said everything is good. i have had them check it three different days, and it has always been different people getting the sme result. there is a slight drain when the car is shut off, I measured it at .25a with my DMM. if I pull the GEM fuse (#39) this drain goes away... But like I said at the first of this entry, I pulled the fuse yesterday and left it on the charger all day and I still had that pesky light come on.

I am going to dig out my GEM module and start unhooking plugs to find out which one has the drian on it, then try to isolate what wire from that plug is draining and go from there... should be fun... NOT!

it is still dark outside now, but in a few hours I am going to go out and start checking wires between the alt and the Batt to see if one might be loose or corroded... I dont know why my car says it has a charging issue but no one can find any problems with it. im thinking my car might be a hypocondriac, my neighbors car broke down last week, and maybe now MY car just wants some attention...

Any adn all advise would be much appreciated.
