I was driving home today, and had an appointment at ford tommorow for a new clutch pack in my limited slip, and all of a sudden i stop at a red light and see a cloud of smoke from under my car. My power steering went out and my brakes started acting up. I muscled the car to the ford dealership which was balls since i just got out of a cast on my left arm and it looks like i either blew the power steering, or did something to the Rack and pinion. A line seems o be loose or broken near the bottom of the drivers side, by the R and P. Hopefully itll get fixed fast.

yeah you either lost a line to the ps system, the rack seal blew out, or youre serp belt is missing. haha.

Just got the car back a few minutes ago. I guessed right originally, a line from the power steering pump came off, the line was right by the RandP on teh drivers side. Car drives great now.I also got the clutch pack in my differential fixed, and when i looked at the invoice it siad they put in a new set of 3.10 gears, as well as a new right rear axle seal. They also put friction modifier into the differential fluid. The car is covered so i dont owe anything. SO yea, its all good. Thanks for the input guys

Ha, if i had known they were gonna do gears, I wouldve bought the 4.10s and had them installed. My birthday is in a few days though, and im gonna be modding up a little. But what i really wanna start saving up for is that new Boss Crate engine.

I didn't know any years came with 3.10s.... 3.08s maybe... but not 3.10s.

On the invoice it says 3.10, so i dunno whats up lol

yea i def read it wrong, because it says the number 3.10 under a suspension thing. So i guess it has something to do with teh axle, the gears are the stock 3.27's (correct me if im wrong). My bad for the confusion before, i wwasnt thinking lol

yea, my bad on not realizing that at first. I was so pissed off at the whoel thing happening because i still have no idea how that happened. And i bought the car like about amonth ago, so yea, in a furious rage i justy read it and was like "oh!"
