Need help jumping time
I have an 01 gt and when I was installing my new engine I was hooking up the stuff under the car while some friends were up top...wll one of them didnt take the time to make sure all the coils were in the right position so one was tucked in between the head and lower intake and then once tightend down broke off and fell down the intake port, tried to start it and it was locked down...took the intake off and pulled the rubber boot out between the valve and valve seat...it was then out of time and with a compression check the valve wasnt bent. so I took it all apart and re timed it and it rolled over fine by hand so i put it back together and then I tried to start it and it had piston to valve hitting...like something is messed up to make it jump timing so I then replaced the timing chains and It did it again??? If anyone has any insight to what this might be it would be greatly appreciated.
