help with spark plugs


can someone give me play by play or pic by pic bc there is a lot of crap in the way of my plugs and i have only been a modular mustang owner for 2 weeks so i need some help and i need some valuble help

thanks man

but that guy makes it seem a lil more than it should what do you think.....im talking about taking the throttle body off, fuel lines it seems a lil to indepth

that's why I said start at step 14.. it's pretty simple.. you don't need to take off your TB.

take off your intake tubing is all you really need to do.

then take the 2 screws off the coil pack and pull that out.
the plug will be right there.

make sure u have some extesions an make sure it is clean around the plug before u pull it out

well im hoping this fixes the occasional skip i feel while cruising my car is pretty much stock with 88k on it 2001 gt

also how do i get the coils off with the fuel rail directly on top of it

um just a hunch skipping normally involves a fowled plug, loose wire so those are the most reasonable answers if it was a fuel filter then it would be bogging been down that road on my past vehicles

The coils are all ruber with a spring coil down the middle. Once you remove the one screw holding it to the intake you can pull the coil out, there is enough room to move it around the fuel rail.

You dont have to take off the fuel rail, just unscrew the cops off and wiggle them out... put paper towel over the holes when you take out a plug.
