Headrest off?


So ive posted this before but it really didnt help
im trying to take my head rest off, i tried giving it an abortion with a coat hanger but the way people tell me to, doesnt work. anything else to use thats better and doesnt scrape my effing seat?

why are you trying to take it off?

the manual says you need to pry up from underneath

It says the seat cover and foam are removed for clarity so maybe you can try from the top? *shrugs*

I too tried various tools (flat strips of metal, etc.) from above and finally did it "by the book".

You have to open up the bottom rear of the seat back cover and go in from there. The seat back cover only has to be removed to get a good clear look at what you are doing--and YES it is a colossal PITA...
