Building rear end few questions??

Heys guys I'm currently in the process of ordering everything to build the rear end. I want to change over to a 31 spline diff and 31 spline axles. Will my stock driveshaft work with this setup?? I want to replace the stock driveshaft away with an aluminum one from ford racing. So if I do that do I have to replace the u joints and trans yoke?? I would imagine you do but I'm not sure. If I do could you please list what I need besides the axles,diff,gears,axle seals, and tuner for the speedo. I have a 02 gt 5spd with a tremec 3650 tranny.

welcome to the forums.

the stock drive shaft will work and when you buy an aluminum one it alreadys comes with u joints.
as far as the yolk goes you don't have to replace that either unless it's damaged.
if your car is an auto you have to put that one on the driveshaft though.

your gonna need some gear oil and friction mod and some locktight.
