x cal 3 or sct livewire?

dont know much about tuners but i decided to make my next modswat i need to complete MM&FF top ten budget parts

ill be getting

BBK CAI - 190
Steeda Tri Ax - 150
Accufab 70mm T/b - 200
FRPP 410s -150 (without install)

i already got DRs, Exhaust, and new brakes

decided to wait a month or 2 till i get the nitrous

so now i just need to know if you guys would suggest get the x cal for like 380 or live wire for 570

i was planning on getting a shift light anyways and the live wire already has one...not to mention it gives a tq/hp esitamte along with 1/4 times and 0-60

im not sure about the difference in tuning ability but ill be order this stuff in the mornign so would like as many opinions as possible

i believe the estimates are exactly that, estimates. Personally I would go with the SCT Xcal 3 and buy a shift light. This way you can place the shift light where ever.

lol it's your money, I am placing my shift light on my steering column. I just can't justify spending that much cash on something that big and ugly so that it can sit on my dash

Well your not going to keep your live wire up on your windshield all the time. Once you tune your car you can keep it in the house. Having it up on the dash all the time is an invite to a theif for a pricy tuner.

I have yet to run my car with the live wire using the shift light...but the runs up and down my street that i was messing around with it apperaed to be accurate.

Plus the live wire has all that cool shit that i think youl LOVE .

I thought it was e-rule of thumb that smiles mean sarcastic???

It does have the extra features and im 99% sure that the live wire has a bigger memory so when you do like data logging you can go longer getting more data for a better read. Im sure you are going through trick tuners so im sure they can tell you what is best for the plans that you have

so all it does is more memory, hp/tq and 1/4 mile and 0-60 times + shift light
