fog lights

i have the stock fog lights and lately ive been having to replace 1 bulb(either left of right) every month or so. i buy the 899 ones at auto zone. is it cuz im using shitty bulbs? what else could it be?

yeah cause you can't touch the glass on halogen bulbs cause the oil from your fingers will make them burn out real fast

yeah if you have to touch it to put them in wear some cotton gloves

Autozone should also have this Gel that you apply to the plug on the bulb. Rub that stuff in there. It keeps moisture out and other crap that will take the life of your bulb. I think the Gel is at the Counter. When you buy a bulb they usally give it to you or ask you if you want it.

I had been having to do the same thing... replace bulbs here n there on my fog lights, they were leaking, finally i ordered some clear fog lights from americanmuscle and love em. No problems yet!!

could be leaking as well...my passenger side burns out every time it rains...havnt gotten around to sealing it up yet
