noise in the rear


i have a humming noise in of my 0f my 02 gt, is this gear oil? or are the bearings gone?

how many miles?

could be gear whine.. i would check the seal and see if it is leaking and pull off your diff cover and check you gears out.
and i would recommend royal purple sythentic gear oil.

if the ring and pinion are not installed properly, they will have a wine to them so there could be a little play or they could be shimmed just a little off and be cuasing the wine
