feels like a crown vic

well i just got done taking the front sway bar off, very interesting test drive hehe. the front end feels like it raises up more which is awesome, and speed bumps seem softer. but my main concern is the body lean, as my car is a DD im afraid of what would happen if i had to make some emergency maneuvers one day. that being said is there anything that can be done to have that awesome feeling(other than adding more hp and tq that comes later) while still maintaining some of that sportscar feel?

i believe it was said that subframe connectors would help offset it some

subframes would help, but dont worry about the sway bar. Its pointless anyway, IMO>

+1 You would have to make some MAJOR maneuvers to upset your car

Can you make some kind of quick disconnect setup for the sway bar links? Ive thought about doing something like that. I wont ever leave it off all the time because I love tearing up the raod course as much as the straight line. And mines a fatty Steeda sway bar

How hard is the sway bar to take off? Ive wondered about doing this but Im also afriad of some thing breaking or putting too much stress on parts that shouldnt have it because the sway bar equalizes it...

can any harm truley be done by doing this? any one have proof?

it didnt take long at all... about 15 minutes, and really you dont even need jackstands..i just turned the wheels to get to everything. 8 nuts total that you have to take off, then just slide it out

lol

nah it wont hurt anything, its only there to stabilize. the only thing i can imagine it doing to the car is decreasing tread life if you decide to drive the twisties ALOT without it
