Cherry Bombs

Anyone know about these or have heard them on a mustang? How loud are they?

Right now im running O/R h pipe with Flowtech Afterburner mufflers. They are pretty loud but i kinda want something louder. There is not a whole lot of info on this company but they seem like a good company and from the video's i watched on youtube they sound pretty good on a mustang as well. But if anyone can tell me how loud they are that would be great. I think they only make the Vortex muffler for the New Edge models.

A guy at work has the Cherry bombs Extreme Dumped on his 08 HEMI Ram and it sounds so good and its so deep. so here i am looking in to them.

what do you guys think about them?

yea no kidding, i`m so glad that was only on there for like 2 weeks, i got so sick of that it was insane, if you want loud go with magnapacks, much better sound than the glasspacks and then if you want really loud put on some LT headers, i`ll try to get a sound clip of my current setup within the next few days and post it up.

PS sorry if this post sucks....drunk posting ftl.

When I think cherry bombs I think

Go with packs/stingers/bassani. All have a clean sound that is much better than POS trailer park glass packs.

That sounds terrible
It really doesn't sound too bad at idle but when you rev it the car sounds like parts are rattling around in the exhaust.

I heard one SN95 with CherryBombs and despite my fondness for them (a 72 Duster 340) I have to say they kind of suck on stangs.
Maybe with a catted mid pipe they might be better, I dunno.

If the guy wants loud, go with Magnapacks, Stingers, SLP LM1 O/R pipe or for a real nice sound go O/R with Bassani or SLP catabck.

loud, but not *broke* sounding.

wow, yeah that didnt sound too good. haha. well the cherry bombs sound so good on my friends truck but yeah im not really diggin the o/r H and cherry bombs on the mustang.

I just thought those would have been a quick fix for me. my catback is about to blow out soon. But my next choices are Mac/bassani.

So if i change to a louder catback my mustang should be louder. But do long tubes really make it that much louder? i thought the loudness always came from the O/R Midpipe?

Just hold off and get another catback, my glass packs were a quick fix, big mistake, they suck. I love my current setup, i wouldnt mind it being a little quieter though.
