like is it going to cause any further damage than just making that annoying sound or is that the extent of it?

I had a bad experience with the throw out bearing sticking sideways in my '99 F-350, I ended up getting a new clutch. That was at 150k

So when my throwout bearing started sqealing on my car I replaced everything all at once.

Centerforce TOB's are supposedly better than FRPP's *shrugs* mine rattles every once in awhile I usually just rest my foot on the clutch while waiting at lights and all easy enough for me, it doesn't always make a rattling sound though sometimes it's there sometimes it's not... *shrugs* if it holds it till I get my bach I'm probably just gonna swap it out for a t56 with viper spec.

Resting your foot on the clutch is exactly what makes it go worse. Think about it, if barely depressing the clutch just to get rid of the sound works, then it means that your clutch is doing something which is only gonna wear it out more.

i think garhfer is referring to at a stop, resting his foot on the clutch... it temporaryly stops the sound of the tob not like driving at normal speeds with his foot on the clutch

if im not mistaken you have to have the clutch in when your sitting at a stop light or have the car in neutral or i might just be doing it wrong

Yeah I know what he meant, but it's still bad. I don't know why, but a lot of people that I know who drive stick always keep the car in first gear at the stop light while holding in the clutch. I on the other hand just throw it in neutral.
