X pipe with no cats

So i got a Bassani o/r x pipe. I want to put high flow cats on it, but cant find cats just by themselves. The place where i bought the x pipe sells the x pipe with no cats, or with hi flow. Im not gonna buy another exhaust just for the cats, so i need to know if theres anyway i can get sum cats on there, without buying another setup or having to sell what i got now. And with it, what kinda of headers are recommended, i.e. shorts mid length long tube??

jegs.com sells cats pretty cheap.

and LT's will make more power than shorties always

whats a good cat to go with, or would they all pretty much be the same? How hard would it be to install the headers anyway, does it require pulling the motor out at all??

they are a pita on a 4.6 most people drop the K member when installing them. I never bothered on my 01 GT.

I had to replace a cat on my x pipe (on my 01) once and went with pypes.. I was pleased.
