Mike Wilson (Dallas Mustang)

I set up an appointment for Tuesday with this guy to tune my car. Anybody heard anything or have any feedback about them. Let me know. I wanted to let Joe at trick tuners tune it but i think that dude is in south nigeria or something. I dont know if i'll ever here from him again. Anyway, Im going to just go get it dyno tuned and be done with it. Let me know what you guys have heard... And he said my 80mm MAF was too small for my procharger and other goodies. He said it will be around 400hp and that MAF wont cut it so i have to buy a diablo something for like 200 bucks. What is this about? He uses sct products.

the guy said my 80mm LMAF would not be good enough. Joe at trick tuners never told me that so we would have been spinning our wheels (not literally).

Send forensicsteve and 05_mustang_kb_charged a PM because they both have 550+rwhp cars and live in that area. They would be able to help you out with a tuner.

I know I see 05mustang_kb_charged on a lot, and the reason I remember him is because I always get jealous seeing his sig saying he's pushing 585 RWHP lol. His last activity was today at 4:24 PST, and it's 7:05 right now so yeah.

I'm have a stock MAF. I was told they are good to about 350 rwhp, maybe a little more. The original tuner had to tune my car rich in the mid range so it wouldn't lean out at 6000 rpm. I later had the car retuned and they installed a Diablosport MAFia. What it does is it adjusts the voltage coming so that you do not max the MAF out.

I'm not sure that the diameter of the MAF 80 or 90 mm has anything to do with it.

Joe is in Brazil?! I wondered why he hasn't been emailing me back. I have my supercharger installed, just waiting on a tune from him before I fire it up.

Anyways....good luck with everything. Let us know how you make out.

Does LMAF stand for Lightning MAF? It has a different voltage curve than our Mustang MAFs. Procharger recommends it for anything over 8 lbs of boost. But you might need it or a MAFia sooner depending on other supporting mods.

dont waste the time or money on a MAFia. They are pretty much a band aid fix for a stock MAF. You will be better off running a LMAF or a ATI Pro-m. The stock maf doesnt have a wide enough range to check the forced air....all a mafia does is add on to the stock maf and basically trick the system to read more.
