Window problem...

This is the problem...When I close the window there is a gap at the side of the window. If your looking at the car from the trunk forward you can see the the window isn't flush with the car. This is on both sides. I have to push the windows in at the upper right (drivers) and upper left (passengers) side to close the gaps.

Are the windows coming up to high? Is there something I can do to tilt the window in and out to correct this problem?

Thanks for the help.

in my convertible the small windows in the back get fucked up all the time. they come off the track almost constantly, I decided to say screw it and I just help the left one up and down by hand now.

Probably just off track. Shouldn't be too hard to fix it.

we're definitely not the only two mustang owners that have windows popping off track dude, I promise. If you wanna open the door up and put the window back on track, you can use an epoxy of some sort to hold it on track so it won' thappen again, I on the otherhand am too lazy, I just help the window by hand.

Mine used to do the same thing, when I went to go have it fixed the guy said from ford the epoxy they use contaminates the window to where no epoxy or glue will stick to it, so he order me a new window with the track made into the glass, have not had a problem since with the drivers side but the passenger side still gives me problems every now and then. By the way that new window was $100 without labor. Good luck.

are you serious? lol a contaminated window that no glue or epoxy will stick to? sounds like a marketing ploy. do you know how glues and epoxys work? ford can kiss my ass buying a new window. I'm going to go glue my window down right now and get back to you on that.

100.00 isn't really that bad though, being that it was Ford...have you ever broken the rear glass out of your convertible? jesus christ...I would never recommend that...it cost me so much money and I had to take the car an hour away, because that was the closest shop that could even put it back in the vert top...it was fuckin crazy.

if mine was doing that, i would def. not mind paying ford 100 bucks to fix it right instead of trying to kneegrow rig it.
