4" break blower installed in air intake?

Ok.. I know this might sound crazy but I got the idea when I was watchig the race last weekend. A 4" break blower motor witch produces 50MPH of wind speed and runs off batery installed it the air intake tube in our car? Wou this even be a realistic idea? The object is to always force feed our engine air.... right....I would think it would have to be installed between the filter and the MAF.... I know a blower or a turbo is ideal but Im just thinking outside the box..... Whats your opinion.... anyone...

These things dont work. It is not the wind speed it is the CFM and ability to really produce boost.

they sell those on ebay as electric superchargers... you wont produce any boost or hp, just make your engine bay look like ass

o it will make some power on the low end. very little but it will. Now once you start hitting high rpms you will actualy lose HP because that thing will block flow. If the leaf blower can make power then that will too. The bottom line is that it is definatly not worth it whatsoever.

+1 I could probably create 50 mph worth of wind speed by blowing through a straw... unfortunetally our cars don't run on straws lol
