Bolt Ons Question...

There is no dyno remotely close to where I live, and I know it might be hard for you guys to give a close answer but even an estimate would be ideal.
I have Mac long tube headers, mac prochamber, mac catback, jlt cai, bbk udp's, 4.10 gears, diablo predator with bamachips tune. Basically everything except for a throttle body and plenum. I can't justify spending 400 dollars on a tb and plenum for what I've read is barely if any a noticable gain at all. So my question is with all these bolt ons what kind of horse power should I be at. RWHP of course, if there was a dyno close like I said I wouldn't be asking but theres not. Thanks.

First off 4.10's wont change your hp. Secondly tb and plenum alone might not be good hp increase but they are supporting mods for other modifications making them more valuable than you want to admit. IMHO you wont be making too much power more than stock because all the mods you have aren't "full bolt ons" they are just intake and exhaust along with a better tune.

+1 on everything you said

i don't see why you would replace every part of your intake and exhaust except for tb and plenum

how does he not have pretty much full bolt ons? i dont get it. hes got full exhaust an intake UDPs a tune...i also dont see the point in getting a tb or plenum when ive seen them sometimes hurt power or only gain 2-3hp at the wheels

I do have a shifter I just didn't mention it because I was asking about horse power, and I don't know how you think its not full bolt ons either, aside from what I have, the only bolt ons I can think of would be tb and plenum, stewart water pump, and aluminum drive shaft if you want to get fussy. I don't consider heads and cams bolt ons as they're a little more in depth.

my buddy made 282rwh and 309lbs of tourqe in his. MustangManic if anyone remembers. He's got accufab t/b. plenum. hooker long tubs with pypes catback. aluminum driveshaft, and a jlt. So anyone who says bolt on don't add up is stupid.

And stevi i am sure those numbers are uncorrected and a little forged. I am sorry you are not make 280rwhp with just those mods. Hell with all those mods plus heads and cams when i had my diablo i only made 287rwhp so if with full bolt ons without heads and cams if you make in the 260 range be happy

<--- i agree with all that too, dyno numbers don't matter. Supra's make 1000rwhp yet my 310rwhp ass whoops them at the track. To really see how a mod effects the car race it when it stock, get consistant and then put your bolt-ons on the car and then run it, then you can see how the effected the car. It kinda sucks to add alot of money to make your car run fast at the track but when you haven't been to the track to see what the car would do before said bolt-ons your not really seeing the difference

cause they are lighter than most higher stock hp cars, and they are not that quick.
