My driver-side window won't roll back up

Firstly, my car is a 2002 mustang gt.

My windows have been working fine, but today, all of a sudden the driver side stopped working and it won't roll back up. (the passenger side is fine, and all the lock buttons work )

When I push the "down" button for my window, I hear a clicking noise from the bottom of the door (I assume this is the motor). But when I press the "up" button, I don't hear the same clicking.

I figured the wire was short or something so I popped out the window's electrical wires and stuff, but it all looks fine!

Any suggestions to get this working?
Here are some good pictures if you want to point out something specific: 1994-2004 Mustang Door Panel Removal

Thanks!

2 things you can do.

hit the bottom of the inside of the door to knock it back on track. or replace the switch.

Alright, thanks guys. I've looked around on google and ebay and cannot find a replacement switch (driver-side.. with the mirror controller) online anywhere. Any suggestions?

I did :/ I think I'm SOL

I might take it to my local mechanic. How much would a switch end up costing me? I found window motors for $50-$70 so surely the switch would be cheaper than that

Yeah I don't mind doing it myself. I just want to make sure I do it right.

Underneath the panel, I removed the 2 screws.. but I don't see anymore screws (atleast I don't remember anymore). How do I removed all the wires from the switch in order to replace it?

Thanks

Would you get a clicking noise when you press the down button? That clicking noise is what makes me think the motor still has life in it.. I could be wrong though

Switch ur switches around and see if that is it. If ur passenger side works then switch it to the drivers side and if it works its ur switch.

Awesome, thanks for all the replies, thats why I came to moddedmustangs first

I'll have my mechanic just look at it to decide whether it is the switch or the motor. If it's the switch, I'll replace it myself and let you guys know how it went

Wes
